Neighbors working together to keep Juliaetta the kind of place people are proud to call home.
Who We Are
The Juliaetta Community Improvement Association is a volunteer-driven non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Juliaetta and the surrounding area. From community beautification projects to annual celebrations, we work to preserve the small-town character and neighborly spirit that make this place special.
We are always looking for volunteers, sponsors, and new members who share our passion for Juliaetta. Whether you grew up here or just moved in, there's a place for you.
Our signature annual event celebrating summer with local food, vendors, live music, and the beloved Classic Car Show. Join us every September in Juliaetta Centennial Park.
From highway litter cleanup to community beautification projects, we invest in making Juliaetta a place everyone is proud to call home year-round — including decorating Juliaetta Centennial Park with Christmas lights each holiday season. We are also currently replacing the Juliaetta Cemetery fence with a new locally crafted fence.
The JCIA is proud to give back by donating funds to organizations that serve our neighbors, including the J-K Ambulance, the KJ7 Newsletter, and the Juliaetta Food Bank.
Throughout the year we host gatherings, fundraisers, and volunteer days that bring neighbors together and strengthen our community bonds.
The JCIA manages the Juliaetta Community Center, available for rent for private events, meetings, and gatherings. The center serves as a meeting site for the Fix Ridge 4H Program, hosts many of the Kendrick-Juliaetta Distinguished Young Women Association meetings, hosts EMT training and CPR training classes, serves as a site for community forums, and is available free of charge for memorial services. Contact us to check availability and reserve your date.

About the Festival
Every September, Juliaetta Centennial Park transforms into a celebration of summer, community, and small-town life. The Blackberry Festival brings together local vendors, artists, food makers, and car, truck, motorcycle, and tractor enthusiasts for a day the whole family can enjoy. Blackberry-themed treats, handcrafted goods, cold lemonade, and the glint of chrome on a sunny Idaho afternoon — there's nothing quite like it.
Artisan vendors, local food makers, blackberry-inspired foods and drinks, live music, games for kids, and everything that makes Juliaetta shine. Browse hand-crafted goods and taste what our community creates.
Show off your pride and joy or just come to admire the machines. Our annual show welcomes classic cars, trucks, motorcycles, and tractors of all eras. Trophies awarded in multiple categories. Register the day of the event.

The 25th Annual Juliaetta Blackberry Festival and Classic Car Show was a wonderful celebration of our community, and this year's event was a tremendous success!
The park was filled with classic cars, trucks, tractors, motorcycles, delicious blackberry treats, vendors, music, and plenty of smiling faces. From the vehicle entries and vendors to the families and visitors who came out to enjoy the day, the festival once again showed what makes Juliaetta such a special community.
The funds raised through the festival will help the Juliaetta Community Improvement Association (JCIA) continue its mission of serving and supporting our community. Every entry, purchase, donation, and contribution helps make it possible for JCIA to continue providing valuable resources and opportunities for the people of Juliaetta.
An event of this size doesn't happen without a tremendous amount of help. A very special thank you goes to all of the volunteers who donated their time, pies, energy, and talents before, during, and after the festival. We would also like to give a special thank you to everyone who helped organize, set up, and participate in the dachshund dog races. From the people who made the races possible to all of the enthusiastic dogs and their owners who took part, the races were a fun and memorable part of the festival!
We are also incredibly grateful to our generous sponsors, whose support helps make the event possible.
Thank you to everyone who brought a vehicle to display, all of our wonderful vendors, and every person who attended and helped make the 25th festival one to remember.
We are grateful to everyone who helped make this year's celebration a success and look forward to continuing this tradition for many years to come.
Thank you, Juliaetta, for making the 25th Blackberry Festival and Classic Car Show so special!

A big thank you to our dedicated JCIA volunteers who turned out to clean up litter along Highway 3. Thanks to their hard work and community spirit, the stretch of highway is looking great. We are proud of the effort our volunteers put in to keeping Juliaetta and the surrounding area clean and beautiful.
